Programs

Because of the recent market crisis, many individuals seek independent education on how to best protect their wealth. The independence of faculty is valued, and unbiased content is expected. Programs are open enrollment, and participants need not be members of IPI to apply.

In collaboration with The Wharton School, IPI developed the Private Wealth Management program, now held once a year at the University of Pennsylvania. Since 1999, 544 investors from 30 countries have attended this five-day program.

IPI also works with Stanford on the Wealth Management program each August. Since the inaugural class in 2008, this five-day program has included participants from 12 countries.

In addition to these two programs, half-day seminars are offered at IPI that focus on the Principles of Principal, sometimes referred to as the "process" of managing wealth.  This is contrasted to seminars that explain investment products.

All programs allow participants to have the unusual opportunity to meet and work with others, who like themselves, have created, or are part of, a family with substantial assets. All programs use case studies that are crafted from "real life", so the learning is practical and, importantly, includes the impact of family dynamics and behavioral finance.
